LJ's new TOS

I need to decide what to do about my livejournal. I haven't accepted the new TOS yet, which means apparently my latest few posts on dreamwidth have not crossposted to lj. I don't know if I still have anyone reading me solely on lj who I'd need to warn if I do just stop posting there ever, but if so I can't just keep ignoring the issue. But I don't know how to find out without accepting the TOS in order to post to lj!

I'm really not thrilled about the idea of accepting the TOS and continuing to use LJ the way I always have, and I'm also not thrilled about the idea of just abandoning my LJ without further notice, or accepting the TOS in order to post notice to my LJ that I'm abandoning it and then leaving it there, or deleting my LJ permanently. No good options here. Sigh. The end of an era, but a very awkward end.

If anyone has opinions as to what I should do about my LJ, please do let me know.

I have no opinions but exactly the same problem -- I've basically just been ignoring it out of a desire to neither a.) accept the new TOS or b.) deal, but this state of affairs cannot continue forever...

Yeah, all of this is where I indecisively stand, too.

I dunno, I clicked on the TOS in order to post on LJ asking if ANYONE was still reading my crossposts there. There are a couple friends who sometimes anon-comment on my DW who I thought might comment, but it's been a week and none of them have, and the only person who did comment also has a DW and crossposts from it. So I think I'm going to stop cross-posting, it was only something I did as a courtesy for friends who are clearly no longer reading very often.

There's doesn't feel to me to be a great personal cost in agreeing to the new TOS, since I'm not planning to use the site anymore so the consequences on me are not great. But I dunno, I guess I do appreciate the argument that even accepting provides support to the company to be able to say "Look, see how many people have accepted the new TOS, we can keep running roughshod over our users's rights and safety." *shrug*
