In return, I wanted to rec a cute romance that you might like, if you haven't already read it: Beginner's Guide: Love and Other Chemical Reactions by Six de los Reyes. It's got lots of likeable characters, an "opposites attract" plot, and it's great fun. It's also set in the Phillipines, and was refreshing in how that wasn't a plot point - it was just where they lived.
