the first thing I did upon finishing reading it was go to my rss reader and read through all the tumblr posts, so now I kind of feel like all the important things have already been said by other people
Haha WHAT a mood, this absolutely happened to me too! But I'm very happy about that, really, because people have said such good and thoughtful and in-depth things and I feel like I'm very well-equipped for my Alecto read. Also, one of the things I loved so, so much about Nona as a book is that the previous ones absolutely made me feel many things and were very full of Vibes, but this book was the first one where I felt like I understood the actual shape of the world (there's a huge difference between "lol it's so full of memes, maybe we're in the future solar system and Jod was a tumblr kid" and what was actually laid out in the Book of John sections) AND the first book where I felt like I'm really grasping what this series is going for thematically. Anyway, ahhh I loved it.
