yeahhhhh it truly was an uncomfortable vibe, especially since the narrative didn't seem overly concerned about it. Like I was fine with lots of depictions of other horrible things in the book because even through Kyr's blinkered pov you could tell that she's wrong about a lot of things, but the destruction of earth and all that's on it is just....not quite treated in the same way.
