I...don't think I used to get choked up at ANY of the bits when I was a teenager, upon reflection -- which is kind of weird, actually, because I cry REALLY EASILY, and I was really into the musical. Wrt the end, though, there's definitely been a change in me. I never really got much out of the end, back in the day, and I don't know why!

I am much more choked up about Gavroche's death now that I know Gavroche from the book. I was never particularly into him in the musical and now I'm like GAVROOOOOOCHE YOU ARE SO AWESOME.
