Yay, bird shrine!! That piece of wood would have fooled me too. :o

I am also very behind on a lot of things, in part because my social energy seems to be the last thing to come back after my surgery, so I'm having a hard time staying in touch with people. I look forward to catching up when we are both capable!

awww thank you! that piece of wood was SO tricksy. Before I dug my camera out, when I was looking at it with just my binoculars, I was 100% sure I was looking at a bird. The camera has juuuuuust enough better zoom than my bins that it was only when I took the pic and then zoomed in real close on the pic that I was able to be sure that I was being fooled!

I'm sorry you've been struggling with the return of social energy post-surgery, and I hope you are continuing to recover that! I too look forward to catching up! <3
