Okay! I have read it now, and OMG YAY, SO MUCH YAY. I ... may have listened to your podfic of Fiction a ridiculous number of times, so I was completely fascinated to discover thematic stuff or cadences in my writing that are the same there and in Katabasis, which I'm very sure I wouldn't have noticed at all without your reading of them. And I'm still just so fond of your reading of things! I don't know why, but I particularly loved how you read Bob Fraser. The whole thing is delightful, though, and I am so very happy you recorded this. :DDD

Ohhh, thank you so much! I had a lot of fun recording it, and I am very happy you liked it!

It is cool, doing podfics of more than one story for the same author, because yeah, I totally found myself noticing some similarities of theme. Plus it means I am finding myself getting far more familiar with your writing style, such that I would get to certain lines and find myself thinking, "oh, that's a very Aria turn of phrase". It's fun!

I realize I'm 7 years late to this party, but I'm having a mini-Due South fic renaissance right now and would absolutely LOVE to listen to your recording of this if at all still possible! So I stayed up late and listened to the entirety of this last night and it was absolutely lovely. I especially laughed at your Mort, and there was a bit of a rambling confession Ray made toward the end I can't recall the exact specifics of but I loved your delivery!
