Is it Christmas yet?

Well, I set Diigo to importing my Delicious bookmarks, but I have no idea whether it's actually working at it or not, since there's no handy progress bar to watch or anything. It might be plugging away, or it might not be, and I won't know till Diigo sends me an email to tell me my bookmarks are all imported. This is a very weird feeling, to have NO IDEA whether it's working or not. I figure that if by next morning they're still not imported I'll assume there was a problem and try again.

In the interim, something HAPPY.

And I for one am very excited by it. It tells us why Amy and Rory were inexplicably in those outfits in the trailer -- they were interrupted while in a honeymoon suite! Oh, that's adorable.

"Christmas eve on a rooftop, saw a chimney, my whole brain just went, 'what the hell!'"

"And he hates me."
"Were you being extra charming and clever?"
"Yeah, how'd you know?"
"Lucky guess."

And what's so important about the fish?

I cannot wait to see how all of this is going to play out!

I am so delighted about all of it! Although especially by knowing why Amy and Rory are all police officer and Roman centurion. I possibly ship them even harder now. :D

Oh, I KNOW! SO hard!

Though I can't help but worry, in the third clip, where Rory asks whether he was lying and Amy brushes him off with a condescending, "no, no." That does not look like a sign of a healthy relationship! I want them to WORK OUT AND BE HAPPY!

I actually wasn't worried about that! Mostly it's because it very much just pinged me as Moffat-style humor -- I don't know if you've ever watched Coupling (and I don't necessarily recommend it, although it can reduce me to tears of laughter) but that's just a thing he does -- like, on par with the exchange in the Big Bang where the Doctor's like "So you're Mr. Pond now!" and Rory's like "No, it doesn't work like that," and there's a pause and then they're both like, "Yes. Yes it does."

Whiiich does not mean I am particularly delighted that Amy is brushing Rory off there, but I suspect it's only something to be worried about on the meta level, not in story.

Ah, fair enough! That makes sense.

But it still makes me sad, treating a brushing-off like that as something funny instead of a sign of a relationship that needs work. *sigh* I want their relationship to be happy and healthy both in the in-show understanding of things AND on a meta level!
