Okay I've kind of always said that Doctor/TARDIS is the best otp there is, in a half-joking and mostly-serious sort of way. And OH MY DEAR SWEET LORD ABOVE does this episode ever deliver. DOCTOR/TARDIS FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER. ALWAYS. I SHIP THEM SO HARD. And the show was kind enough to have a line in there about how it's "not like that" so YAY. ASEXUAL DOCTOR/TARDIS. ALWAYS AND ALWAYS. I CAN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING ELSE USEFUL ABOUT THIS EPISODE BECAUSE -- DOCTOR/TARDIS. CANONICALLY ACKNOWLEDGED. *STARS IN MY EYES*

Yes I've seen the episode twice already IT WAS JUST THAT FANTASTIC.

I'm sorry, River and the Doctor can kiss as much as they want, and people can ship them as much as they want - or ship the Doctor with other companions - but companions come and go and the TARDIS will always stay with him. Because THEIRLOVEISSOTRUE. And because she definitely didn't just borrow him. (I love that the thievery went in both directions when they went running off to see the universe together!)

No seriously this episode is like all my dreams come true.

I'm just going to sit here grinning for the rest of forever.

(AND NO I'M NOT GOING TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY CAPSLOCK ABUSE IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH)

(I am so glad you are able to be squeeful over this ep too! I've seen a couple comments elsewhere from people who weren't fans of the ep and I just wanted to ask them if they hate everything that's good and right in the world.)

I ACTUALLY WATCHED THIS EPISODE OMG and it was so amazing. :DDDD And omg yes they are so canon. And I AGREE SO MUCH soamazing the thievery went in both directions because the TARDIS! Character with AGENCY!

Also, whatwith the whole "kissing? I do not get it?" thing I have, I LOVED "biting! it's like kissing except there's a winner!" I want that line on a T-shirt or something. :D

I too love that line about biting/kissing, because - hee, yes, I am currently more or less able to conceptually understand why people like kissing, but I still think it's just weird. So her approach to kissing is AWESOME.

Oh my god, the thievery! Together! Dreamy! And I loved that her really vague statement was, more or less, approval of the River/Eleven ship—she knows it's going to happen.

Basically, this is closest we will ever get to my dream episode, so… flawless.

I KNOW! It was SO AMAZING. And also I am pretty sure ethis episode has managed to magically make me mostly okay with the River/Eleven stuff, which makes me very happy, you have no idea.

That episode was fabulous! One of my favorites, I think, and definitely my favorite of this season so far. I really love it when shows play with their own mythos in that way (... my fingers wanted to type "methos" just then, silly fingers).

It was SO SO GOOD. Definitely up there with my top DW episodes of all times, and for sure my fave this season so far! Though with only a total of 4 eps yet this season, that's not actually saying much. :D

IDK, I always kind of saw Ten's percussive maintenance as being fond! But I can also see how it might be seen otherwise.
